Kamal Hassan’s Unnai Pol Oruvan with Mohanlal has been shot at a very fast pace and sources say that almost 90 per cent of the movie shooting has been completed. The movie shooting Started on April 7th in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao studios. Kamal fans want the movie to be release on August 12th since it will Kamal Hassan’s 50th Golden Jubilee year. Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan’s first film as a child artist Kalathoor Kannamma was released on August 12, 1959.
Unnai Pol Oruvan is a remake of the much acclaimed Bollywood film A Wednesday. Unnai Pol Oruvan will be made as bilingual film, directed by Chakri. The film will be made in the Tamil and Telugu languages (as Eenadu) with Mohanlal playing a supporting role in the former while Venkatesh plays the same role in the latter version.
Shruti Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan will also make her debut as a music composer in the movie. The movie will also see two of Indian cinema’s finest actors – Kamal Hassan and Mohanlal coming together for the first time.
